Dooboojeon is a side dish solely made with firm tofu that is vegetarian friendly, ready to be served within minutes. Dooboo translates into tofu and jeon literally means pan-fried in Korean. As tofu is a very common ingredient in Korean cuisine, dooboojeon is a simple and delicious way to eat it. Straight out of its package, firm tofu block is washed, sliced into rectangular or square pieces then pan-fried to golden crispy pieces.
